About EHII: EHI International (earlier known and EPOS) was established in 1999 as a multi- dimensional consulting organisation in the health and social development sectors. EHII places specific emphasis on research and evidence based solutions for integrated health services, effective communication for behavioural change, inter-sectoral and inter-organizational cooperation, community involvement and client-centric services. We believe in working in close cooperation with all the stakeholders of a project and other development agencies in the health sector. Our experience includes operations research, policy and systems development, capacity development, conducting projects to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the health sector, meeting the demands of a market economy whilst simultaneously contributing to increasing access for all to a quality health service, public private partnerships and management of large scale evaluation surveys.
Qualification:
- Post graduate in Environmental/ social science or equivalent
- National accreditation on Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) or EHS (Preferred)
- Training on Legal/ statutory requirement related to environment, health and safety (preferred)
Experience
- Experience of environment management
- Experience of impact assessment
- Experience in environment health and safety (EHS) management to health sector projects
Skills:
- Working Level Fluency in Local Language (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Local Culture or administrative system, government organisation etc. (Preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Development of training modules
- Delivery of training
- Development of DPR for BMW
- Supervision/ assessment of issues related to environment management
- Ensuring compliance of the project implementation to the World Bank’s policies including environmental and social standards, guidelines, requirements, and relevant government regulations.
- Support in preparation and implementation of all environmental and social instruments related to project activities following the project’s environmental and social management framework and stakeholder engagement plan

- Supportive supervision in preparation and implementation of all environmental and social instruments
